Council of the Year Shortlisting
We’re thirteen days into advent and today we’re celebrating the national recognition given to our two Conservative run councils this year. Adur and Worthing Councils are no strangers to receiving awards for a number of leading projects. This year they were shortlisted for the two top ‘Council of the Year’ awards in the UK.
Both the MGC and MJ Council of the Year awards had Adur and Worthing Councils on their shortlists. What’s more they were the only district councils on either list, mixing it with a number of much larger councils from Bristol to Aberdeen and to Redbridge.
The judges praised the councils for their work on digital innovation, well being initiatives and the delivery of major building projects. All evidence of your Conservative councils providing nationally leading services to residents across Adur and Worthing.
