Supporting and conserving our natural environment is a top priority for the Conservative Party in Adur and Worthing. On day 14 of advent we’re looking at two interventions made by Conservative councillors to protect sites from inappropriate development and promote biodiversity.
Earlier this year Adur District Council purchased the fields at New Salts Farm and Pad Farm in Lancing. Now the sites will be kept free of housing, be repurposed to help with flood prevention and enhanced for a number of ecological benefits.
This is all consistent with our national drive to plant more trees, protect sea beds and clean up our rivers. For more information on the local action go to https://www.adur-worthing.gov.uk/news/pr20-155.html
