Day 17 of advent has rolled along just as the Worthing Observation Wheel did earlier this year. Supporting our high streets and town centres is one of our top priorities. Across the country the Conservative Government has dedicated millions of pounds to modernisation programmes for high streets.
Here in Adur and Worthing we’ve offered unprecedented levels of support in recent years and we’re delivering further regeneration programmes. The Worthing Observation Wheel is the jewel in the crown of our summer events programme and the largest wheel ever on the south coast. Having it return to the seafront at the height of the pandemic was a great uplift to the town centre.
