Community groups and charities supporting people disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic can now apply for vital support from Adur District Council.
The application process for the 2020/21 Adur Community Grant is now open, providing grants of up to £5,000 for organisations making a positive difference in the area.
For this round of grants the Council has decided to prioritise groups supporting those most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, including Black, Asian and minority ethnic people and disabled people.
Projects seeking to address inequalities in the district will also be given priority.
The deadline for applications is 11:59pm on 6th January 2021.

Cllr Kevin Boram, the Council's Executive Member for Health & Wellbeing, said:
“The work of Adur community groups and volunteers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic has been inspiring.
“As part of our efforts to support Adur's recovery from the pandemic, we want to support those groups which help communities disproportionately affected by COVID-19.
"I would encourage all community groups working in these areas to look at our criteria and apply for possible support so that we can support those most in need through 2021 and beyond.”
