"Several years ago, I was elected as a Parish Councillor for Mash Barn and during my time there I was involved with the development of The Perch and the Skate Park. During my time as a Parish Councillor I have been able to reduce the cost of the re-surfacing of beach green and altering the car parking system to give Adur Council a greater revenue.
I have lived on Mash Barn for over 20 years and feel it would be beneficial to have a District Councillor that lives in Mash Barn, that is not only aware of issues that affect local residents, but also experiences them. My goal is to allow the residents of Mash Barn to be heard and represented at District level. I want to change the perception that others have of Mash Barn and show them that it is a great place to live with a strong community spirit.
With such a huge development going on directly behind our estate I want to ensure that regular contact is kept between Mash Barn residents, Cala and other companies involved in the New Monks Farm development. If issues occur this will allow everyone to have a say in how best to resolve them.
