Tim Loughton welcomed Southwick Camera Club to Parliament on 29th November 2013 to show them round the All- Party Parliamentary Photographic Competition.
The annual Competition is open to all members of both the House of Commons and House of Lords with the winning photographs chosen by a panel of photographic industry experts. A number of photos from members of both houses are selected as winners for the final exhibition which is displayed in both houses for a certain period of time.
Unfortunately, the exhibition, which contains three photos taken by Tim, was removed a day early and taken to the House of Lords which meant that the Camera Club was unable to see the display. However, the club left content after Tim gave them a tour of Parliament and was able to show them a selection of his own photos entered for previous year’s exhibitions over his 16 years as an MP. He also promised to film the exhibition from the House of Lords and send them a copy. The video will shortly be available on Tim’s website. www.timloughton.com
The club was also treated to some surfing Santas making their way across the Thames on paddle boards (see picture)
