''I had a really productive meeting with fellow West Sussex MPs, Cllr Paul Marshall (Leader of West Sussex County Council), his Cabinet, as well as the Chief Executive of East Sussex County Council - Becky Shaw - who has been appointed to oversee the workings of the County Council whilst it gets back on an even keel, and other senior officers. Seven out of the county’s eight MPs were in attendance and we covered a lot of areas including the state of Children’s Services and fire services, traffic congestion, additional funding going into dealing with potholes and pavement maintenance and adult social care.''
