Last year Worthing Hospital was rated as ‘outstanding’ in all areas by the Care Quality Commission. We think it’s the best hospital in the country and what better way to mark the 11th day of advent than to celebrate and thank everyone at Worthing Hospital for all they’ve done through the pandemic.
At last year’s general election the Conservative Party pledged record breaking levels of investment in the NHS and to recruit 50,000 more nurses by 2025. Today we’re announcing nearly £10m of investment in 14 improvement projects across our two local trusts between now and March 2021. Since last year’s election there are an additional 14,800 more nurses working in the NHS.
