Just one week to go til the big day so it’s day 18 of our advent countdown. There must be a 007 film on the TV so let’s talk about ‘Gate; Teville Gate’. For too long the private sector has failed to deliver a new development as this eyesore site but thanks to your Conservative team we’re making big progress.
Using government funding we’ve knocked down all the old buildings including the ugly multi-storey car park. A new office development that will house 900 new town centre jobs is nearing completion. We’re investing in the surrounding area to create a fantastic new approach from the station.
In November we announced the council's new partnership with Vivid Homes to purchase the site and deliver a lasting rejuvenation of the site that will serve Worthing well for decades to come.
