The Conservatives' long term economic plan is delivering a stronger economy and a better future.
We have come a long way from the dark days of Labour's recession, which left Britain with the biggest budget deficit in peacetime history. The deficit is now down, growth is up and over 1.5 million more people are in work than when Labour were in power - and earning a regular pay packet and getting on in life.
Our economy is on the up, growing faster than any major European economy, and that means we have earned renewed respect abroad to fight for change in the EU and secure a better, stronger future. Our long term economic plan is working, but there is more to do.
The biggest threat to our plan and the recovery is the Labour Party. They offer no cohesive policies and would wreck the economy all over again with more spending, more borrowing and more taxes.
That is why we need to continue with our plans to build a more competitive, internationally focused, economy. Not just for our future, but for our childrens' future too.
